Selects the printer or plotter. The program works with any output device installed on the system, including networked printers, print to file.

Specifies the number of copies to print. Enter a number or click the buttons to change the value.

When checked, redirects the print output to a file.

Specifies the size of paper. You can select standard sizes or User defined custom size.

While printer may appear to support many different sizes, you should select only the size of paper that is actually in the printer. If User Defined appears in the list, the paper's dimensions are specified by the printer's Properties dialog box.

Specifies which area of the drawing to print:

• Entire drawing: prints the extents of the drawing, which ensures every visible element is printed. Elements on hidden layers are not taken into account when calculating the printable area.
• Current view: prints the current view.
• View: prints a rectangular area of the view. When you press View button the dialog disappears and you can specify one corner and the other corner the rectangular area to be printed. The Print dialog returns automatically.
• Printable area: prints the limits of the drawing, as specified by the rectangle size.

Specifies the offset distance for the print.

• Center the plot: centers the print on the page.
• Together with Scale to Fit option is the best choice for prints where scale is unimportant.
• X and Y: enter positive or negative distances to move the drawing in the x and/or y distances. The lower left corner of the drawing is moved by the specified distance. 

• All colour in grayscale: Print the drawing in grayscale
• All colour in black: Print the drawing in black
• All text in black: Print all text in the drawing in black
• Visible floor in greyscale: When you activate this option, you will be able to print the content of the visible floor too, as you see it on the drawing.

Specifies the Colour - Pen assignment to use for the printed output, which assigns to colors different pen colourr and pen width. You can save your settings by selecting “Save setting” and later you can reload these by “OPEN” button.

Specifies the drawing orientation. You can select Default or Rotated drawing option.

Don’t mix up the Orientation with paper orientation. The first one refers to the drawing and the other to the paper sheet.

Scales the drawing to fit it to the paper:

• Scale to fit- calculates the best scale to fit the current paper size. When this option is turned on, you can modify the scale factor in User defined field.
• Scale factor values - allows you to specify the scale factor to use for plotting; choose a scale factor from the droplist, or choose Custom. Custom lets you define your own scale factor. Custom means that you will use the editable scale value shown in the User Defined field.

You need to set the scale 1:1 in case of publishing a plot layout, because the layout is a real-world size virtual paper and does not need to be further scaled.

• Scale lineweight with scale factor: when on, lineweights are scaled with respect to the scale.
• Plot lineweight on/off: Toggles the use the lineweights. In the off state, the lineweight is always the thinnest line available. In the on state it scales the lineweight in proportion to the scale factor 
• Replace halftone with thin lines: If views display some elements in halftone, select this option to replace the halftone drawings with thin lines.

Applies the changes you made to this dialog box. The changes are remembered the next time you use this command.

Click Print to print the drawing.  The result can be a hard copy or a PDF file based on the selected Printer.

Returns to the drawing editor without printing the drawing.

Displays a preview of the print in the preview window. The image indicates the size, position and orientation of the current drawing area on the selected paper size.
