In most cases floors should stop at the walls and allow internal walls to continue uninterupted to foundation level.
Storey (level bounded) parameters allow you to define wall elevation from the floor structural layer.
The use of storey (level bounded) parameters allows for accurate modeling, i.e. the connection of the main wall layer from the structural layer of the floor and the elevation of the wall plaster layers from the blind concrete.
