Constructed shadow

On a vectorial section or elevation view you can display constructed shadow. The software generates an accurate shadow representation that can be dimensioned and scaled as a drawing. The shadow elements are saved in vector format. It means you can edit, move, copy the content without loss of quality.

The shadows cast from a theoretical sun position, rather than a sun position based on project location, date, and time.
Location of the command: Ribbon > View > Shadow > Elevation Shadow 

Follow the simple rule of projection as below.

True altitude (Vertical shadow angle)

Vertical shadow angle is set at 135 or 45 degrees, depending on whether the light comes from left or right.

Angle of incidence (Horizontal shadow angle)

The horizontal shadow angle is set at 45 degrees by default.
