ARCHLine.XP 2023 - For faster, more spectacular design
ARCHLine.XP 2023 has the flexibility to support BIM project from beginning to end, from conceptual design to the creation of a detailed 3D model with full documentation. You can create an immersive presentation experience with cutting-edge technologies like the new Rendering module.
- We are proud to introduce the new built-in cutting-edge Rendering engine that creates a new level of photorealistic rendering.
- ARCHLine.XP 2023 supports IFC4 import/export.
- Use color schemes and color fill legends to graphically represent spaces and other building elements such as room name, type, area, etc.
- In ARCHLine.XP 2023, we introduce rebars. Rebar tool provides ARCHLine.XP with a new way to quickly produce building with reinforced concrete structures.
- The new Interference Check MEP tool can find intersections among a selected elements or all elements in the model.
We listened to our users, a total of more than thirty suggestions for further development were implemented in the new program.
The main novelties of ARCHLine.XP 2023:
1. New rendering engine
2. Color scheme
3. Rebars
4. Construction sequence animation
5. IFC 4 import / export
6. Interference Check (MEP)
7. Cleaner floor plan, customized 2D representation of 3D object

Interface:
New marker points:
- Section - Create/refresh Section with one click
- Object size change graphically
- The image has X/Y size editing marker, similar to rectangle
- Room and Area listbox allows you to edit the room name without entering a command directly.
Section | Object size | Image X/Y size |

Updating the dialogs or other forms that make up ARCHLine.XP.
- Uniform look for Stair properties dialog

Variants
All elements in the ARCHLine.XP fits into a clearly defined hierarchy: Categories - Styles - Variants
Variants are elements that differ only slightly from similar elements.
Scaling objects graphically
Objects can also be scaled graphically with the blue arrow markers horizontal and vertical direction. The arrow appears on the side where the numerical size arrow is pointing.
Panorama positioning
Panorama positioning helps to find the optimal position of the background HDR image.
Architectural Features:
Split level height
Sometimes the floor plan is split level due to the topography.
You can create a split level within a floor so you can more easily refer to that height.
Rebar
The Rebar tool allows you to place predefined rebar shapes or custom rebar to reinforce concrete modeling elements such as columns, beams, and slabs.
Stairs geometry editing
Control arrows display on the stair indicating which dimensions are unlocked and available to reshape.
Construction Animation
Construction Animation visually describes the construction sequence with programme timelines.
Construction simulation offers a visual representation of project construction stages and is the perfect complement to your 2D drawings and schedules. It makes easy to understand the project.
The output is a 3D animation with short clips generated from periods and selections assigned to the periods.
Replacing the Callout content with DWG or Raster image
The novelty of 2023 is that the content of the Callout can be replaced with an external content, e.g. a raster image or a DWG file, with this, a construction-level representation can be assigned to the node.
Roombook – interchangeable order
You are free to change the order of the data displayed in the room stamp.
Roombook – change the room name
You can change the room name from the floor plan in the drop-down list in the room and area stamp you have placed.
Improved functionality:
Spline editing by control vertices or fit points.
Editing a spline with control vertices generally provides finer control over reshaping a small section than editing with fit points.
Control vertices are signed with purple dots and fit points are signed with blue dots.
Perpendicular profile closure
The purpose of the command is to make it easier to plan accurately. The command completes the polyline with a perpendicular closure.
Wall extension
If the end point falls inside another wall, the progran automatically creates a T connection
Dimension wall scaling sets
Sets can be created and activated in the Ribbon menu
The creation command brings up the list of the user-specified and ready-delivered sets in a new Ribbon menu.
Creating walls with dimensions
A dimension set can be assigned to create a new wall. It is possible to set which dimension chain type(s) are generated. The option can be turned on and off.
Two-Point Perspective on floorplan
You can create new perspective view in 2D with horizontal field of view.
Core Feature:
IFC4 version
ARCHLine.XP supports the import and export of both IFC2x3 and IFC4 versions.
Built-in Rich Text format (RTF) editor
ARCHLine.XP 2023 enables to import Rich Text format (RTF) text.
RTF documents can be imported from Microsoft Word and many other word processing programs.
Imported RTF text retains most of their formatting in ARCHLine.XP.
Note:
This function below has been deprecated in ARCHLine.XP 2023 update versions after 07.12.2023.
That means they are no longer supported, and removed from future versions.
-The Place it (RTF) Built-in Rich Text format (RTF) editor, as Syncfusion third party license has expired.
Plot Features:
Printing Layout modernization
The management of the design sheet has been simplified with the appearance of the Layout properties dialog. Important dimensioning parameters can be set directly with the markers on the drawing.
New markers help to edit roof directly:
- Drawing scale =
- Architectural scale =
- Phase =
- Wall fill pattern =
Interior Design Features:
Management of design variants in 3D views
It is possible to display different layer variations in several 3D windows, making it easy to compare different versions of the design.
KBB furniture fronts with multiple handles
KBB furniture fronts can accommodate more than one handle, so you can add different handles to the same drawer or door.
Lights overview
New command that shows all light sources with yellow/black light bulbs depending on whether they are on or off. If the lamp contains several light sources, the program displays the number of light sources. By clicking on the light source icon, the already known functions are available.
- Elevate: change the height of the light source.
- Add/edit light source: in the light source editor dialog, you can change the properties of the light source or add a new light source.
- Switch light on/off: the light source emits light in 3D or not.
- Intensity: controls the brightness.
- Show lamp: displays the object associated with the light source in 3D and 2D.
List of elements includes light sources
Opened from the floor plan, the list of elements command will show you how many light sources have been placed in the project.
Find Material
The command selects all elements that use the selected material.
Until now, the material used in the project could be identified by right-clicking on the element. The selected material is displayed in the Object Center, and its properties can be edited directly from here.
With the new command in the Object Center, you can also perform the reverse operation: show the objects that contain the selected material in the library.
Representing 3D objects in 2D with user defined groups
Various 2D representations can be assigned to any 3D object.
The advantage is the more transparent floor plan. Using schematic representations instead of a top view results in a clearer floor plan.
