Room and Area Commands lets you calculate the area and volume of rooms and display the information.
ROOMBOOK SINGLE
ROOMBOOK SINGLE coord1
It places a roombook in the selected room. The program automatically searches for the walls bordering the area. The room's boundary will be the inner contour of the found walls (the boundary is hooked to the wall so it moves with it). The attributes of the roombook (text, covering of the walls, etc.) can be set via the opened dialogwindow. The last step is selecting the location of the text's bottom left corner. If there is an existing roombook for this area, the command deletes it first and then places the new on the location of the former.
coord1 (point): a point inside the area to turn into a room
OUT
ROOMBOOK SINGLE OUT {<wall> ENTER | POLYGON {$circ_def$ | $polyline_def$} }
With this command you can select the walls of the room manually or create the boundary with a freehand polyline (option 'POLYLINE'). The command measures in default the whole area between the selected boundaries (even the area of the walls) and the contour line of the roombook is not related to the walls. The attributes of the roombook must be set in the dialogwindow and the last step is pointing at the location of the text's left bottom corner.
wall (obj): a wall of the room
$circ_def$, $polyline_def$: definition of a circle and a polyline. See them in the chapter Definitions.
ROOMBOOK SPOLYGON
ROOMBOOK SPOLYGON {$circ_def$ | $polyline_def$}
This command creates a roombook for the area closed in with a freehand polyline. The attributes of the roombook can be set through a dialogwindow. The last step is locating the left bottom corner of the text.
$circ_def$: definition of a circle. See it in the chapter Definition.
$polyline_def$: definition of a polyline. See it in the chapter Definition.
ROOMBOOK CONTINUOUS
ROOMBOOK CONTINUOUS <coord1 coord2> ENTER
This command creates the selected rooms roombooks with the default attributes. The room bondaries are calculated automatically (just as by the command 'ROOMBOOK SINGLE'). The roombook can be modified later.
coord1 (point): point inside the room
coord2 (point): location of the bottom left corner of the roombook
ROOMBOOK MODIFY
ROOMBOOK MODIFY rb
It modifies the selected roombook. The command works with a dialogwindow.
rb (obj): the roombook to be modified

ROOMBOOK MODIFY ALL
This command refreshes all of the roombooks on the active floor. You must confirm that you really want to do it.

ROOMBOOK ALL
ROOMBOOK ALL
This command creates a table from all of the project's roombooks and places it on the drawing. The elements of the table can be defined in a dialogwindow, and the last step is selecting a place for the table. The pointed location will be the left bottom corner of it.
