You can assign your own floor plan symbol to the words stored in the 2D symbol vocabulary.
Its purpose is to modify the top view created by the program when the object is imported.
If the name of the imported object partially or fully matches one of the names stored in the dictionary,
the program automatically creates the new library element with the floor plan symbol stored in the dictionary.
If the program finds several names in the dictionary that partially match the name of the element, you can select one of them or use the Cancel button to keep the top view.
Location : Interior - Object - Tools - Exchange 2D symbol vocabulary
Example:
1. The name of the selected element contains the word Chair. By clicking the assignment button in the dictionary, the Chair09 group becomes the new startup symbol.
2. When closing the dialog, the program asks whether to overwrite the original element. If the answer is yes, the library element will appear on the floor plan with the new symbol from now on.
3. By dragging the object onto itself with the command Interior - Single Object - Tools - Replace, the program will replace the 2D symbol on all occurrences of the element.
