It's quick and easy to download objects from the 3D Warehouse directly to your LIVE library. The downloaded items are always available in the library, ready to use in any project. Setting up and decorating projects has never been easier.
Open the 3D Warehouse
Click on the 3D Warehouse icon in the toolbar to open the 3D Warehouse page directly from LIVE. The page will open in a new window in LIVE's own browser, and will work in the same way as the page opened from the browser.
Please note that the 3D Warehouse site is not a product of CadLine Ltd., but is owned by Trimble, a US company that requires registration to use the site, and therefore you need to create your own user account to use 3D Warehouse. Only after login you can download objects from the site.
The search is mainly in English, but you can also find objects in other languages too. Click on the object you are looking for to start the download.
After downloading the selected object, the page closes and the Imported folder appears in the LIVE navigator with the downloaded object automatically selected. The downloaded objects are saved to your computer's storage space, so you should have enough space on your computer to download the objects.
Place the objects in the project
Downloaded objects from the library can be placed in the project straight away. It is recommended that you import a project from ARCHLine.XP, SketchUp or other design software that contains only the basic elements, then furnish and add accessories in LIVE.
