When you place a drawing on layout, you can apply a scale so that all geometry in that drawing reflects the selected scale.
Note:
The architectural scale, the phase setting, the display of wall fill pattern, and the applied color scheme can be changed in the same way as changing the scale.
As a result, you can adjust the scale in Layout quickly.
The following sections explain how to edit a scaled drawing.
To edit a scaled drawing group, follow these steps:
1. Select the drawing. You can see the current scale when the scaled drawing group is selected, as shown in the figure above.
2a. The Properties panel on the left appears, click Drawing Scale.
2b. The editable markers on the right appears, click Drawing Scale.
2c. The Properties panel on the left appears, click Property or the pencil icon marked with green box on the figure above.
3. Select the new scale from the submenu that appears, as shown in the following figure.
Choosing a new scale will change the size of the drawing. (In the example, it will be 1:200 instead of 1:100)
Note:
However, when you apply the scale, some entities such as text, labels, dimensions and hatches may retain their original properties, such as line gap and font size.
