In this menu you can create different animations in the 3D view, which can be saved to a separate file on your computer.
Command location: View > Animation
Walk and fly
In 3D view, you can move the mouse around the model.
- Walk: during walk, the height of the observer's viewpoint does not change. The viewpoint (i.e. the camera) moves in a fixed horizontal plane.
- Fly: during fly, the height of the observer's viewpoint can be changed, as if the model were being flown in.
- Rotate around: the rotate command allows the 3D model to be rotated around the centre of rotation at a constant speed.
- Look around: the look around command rotates the camera around the model at a constant speed.
- Walk and record: a command to create 3D animations.
- Fly and record: command to create 3D animation.
Path
You can use a polyline to indicate the camera's path and dots to indicate the camera's viewpoints.
- Define path: draw the animation path.
- Settings: access the animation settings here.
- Define height of node: adjust the height of the camera viewpoints.
- Add node: add a new viewpoint to the path.
- Move destination point: changes the direction of the camera.
- Create animation: after creating the route, create the animation, view and save it.
Construction simulation
Construction simulation offers a visual representation of the construction phases of a project and is the perfect complement to 2D drawings and schedules. It makes it easier to understand the project. The output is a 3D animation with elements displayed according to a timeline.
