- Create tiling pattern
Tiles and tiling are placed with this function. By creating tile styles, you can easily select the tiles you want and place them on the desired surface.
Command location: Interior > Tiling
Settings
In the pop-up dialogue, you can set the pattern of different tiles, which can be viewed immediately in the 3D view. The finished tiling can be saved in a style, so that the set pattern can be reused at any time with a single click.
Placing Tiling Style
You can place previously saved tiles on walls and slabs in 2D and 3D views. Previously placed tiles on the surface will be erased by the program.
Adding Tiling Style
You can place previously saved tiles on walls and slabs in 2D and 3D views. Previously placed tiles on the surface will be retained by the program and the newly placed tiles will be added to the existing ones.
Tiling in 2D
In the pop-up window, you can choose from several different interfaces. Once selected, the wall or slab you want to cover is selected on the floor plan, and then the expanded surface of the element is displayed, where you can draw the exact location of the tiling.
Tiling in 3D
The 3D window is automatically activated and you can place the selected tiling style on the desired surface.
Delete tiling
Deletes all tilings from the selected surface.
Wall tiling
Select the surface on which you want to place the tiling. In the pop-up window, you can specify the size, material, thickness, grouting properties and appearance settings of the tiling. After pressing OK, place the created tiling on the surface. You will be able to specify the position of the tiles and the angle of placement.
Applying materials in 3D
You can place the texture selected from the library on any surface in the 3D model.
Create tiling pattern
Draw the pattern with lines or arcs before starting the command. It is important that the pattern is repeated in all directions. Specify the texture for each part of the pattern and save the pattern to the library. You can use the saved tiling pattern at any time when laying tiles.
