Points are used to mark places on the floor plan that will help you draw accurately during the design process. Points can be used to mark the intended location of terrain elevations, the location of various elements in the building, and the location of other elements.
Command location: Drafting > Point
Place it
Placing a point on the floor plan.
Divide
For the selected line, the program places a specified number of points equidistant from each other.
Divide for chain
On the selected polyline, the program places a specified number of points equidistant from each other.
Divide by given length
The program places points on the selected line at a specified distance from each other.
Topographical input
You can position a point in relation to the reference point, by using coordinates or via a numerical distance input.
