With the commands of the Text set, you can create texts at specified places applying the current text properties. The text can be multiline text – you may type it in or insert it into the Windows clipboard. Before inserting texts, set the text general properties.

General properties
Colour |
Select the 2D representation color of the object. |
Line weights |
The Line weights property provides an option to display different thicknesses of the selected objects. The thickness of the objects remains constant regardless of the scale of the view. In the Print layout, line weights are displayed and printed in real units. |
Layer | Select the layer that the object placed on. |
Priority | Select the 2D representation priority of the object. The higher the value, the lower the linewill be displayed when several objects are overlapping. |

Character width [ % of size ] |
This setting defines character width relative to character height (percentage). Default value is 0. By setting extreme values for this property, you can create very wide or very narrow characters. |
Character spacing [ % of size ] |
you can specify the spacing between characters. Default value is 0. The setting defines spacing value relative to character height (percentage). |
Line spacing [ % of size ] | you can set the distance between the rows. The value of line spacing is interpreted relative to character height (percentage). |
Text direction | You can set the current text direction. If you set 0, the text will be horizontal, while a value of 90 results in a vertical text. |
Inclination | The Inclination property sets the orientation of the text characters in a line. |
Origin |
This command defines the origin of the text. If, for example, you choose the bottom-left option, the text will be inserted at the selected point by its bottom-left corner. |
Bounding | The distance between bounding box and the text can be specified as a per cent value relative to the character height |
Bounding margin | The distance between bounding box and the text can be specified as a per cent value relative to the character height |
