With automation at the center, ARCHLine.XP 2024 opens a new era with tools never seen before.
Let's take a look at the ground-breaking features that will change the way architects and designers approach their projects.
Architectural innovations:
From raster to BIM: Converting floor plans to 3D models:
ARCHLine.XP 2024 introduces a revolutionary feature: the seamless transformation of raster floor plans into detailed BIM 3D models. With a few clicks, designers can breathe life into static images and turn the floor plan into a dynamic 3D model containing walls, doors, and windows. This feature not only increases efficiency, but also bridges the gap between traditional design and cutting-edge technology.
Automatic BIM modeling from 2D DWG floor plans:
Say goodbye to the complexities of manual conversions.
ARCHLine.XP 2024 automatically generates BIM models from 2D DWG floor plans. This intelligent tool interprets 2D drawings and transforms them into 3D model, speeding up the design process and giving designers more time for creative work.
Import Point Cloud in .rcs format, and LAS (LASer) format:
Enhancing its compatibility, ARCHLine.XP 2024 supports the import of ReCap file formats such as RCS and RCP. The big advantage of RCS and RCP is that files open almost instantly. This format enables users to incorporate highly detailed and accurate representations of real-world environments into their designs. The LAS (LASer) format is a file format designed for the interchange and archiving of lidar point cloud data.

Truss Design Tools :
The advanced tools of ARCHLine.XP 2024 are expanded with the truss support, architects can now easily create truss structures.
Layer Wrapping for Precision:
ARCHLine.XP 2024 introduces layer wrapping at wall ends and openings, allowing for better control over design details. This feature ensures that architectural details are precisely executed, providing architects with the level of control needed for intricate and accurate designs.

Realistic Site representation:
Architects can now enrich their projects with realistic on-site elements. ARCHLine.XP 2024 introduces libraries for road markings, road signs and other site representations, allowing for more accurate and immersive contextualization of architectural designs.
Room and area: User defined room names:
The room stamp can be assigned individual room names, so you can fully personalise the room stamp applied to the floor plan. Thanks to this feature, you can add any room name to the list, so you can select more than just the names in the list.
Walls visible on other floors:
It is possible in the program to display only selected walls on other floors. This is a great help when designing multi-storey buildings, as it allows you to display only certain walls on the lower or upper storeys, so you don't have to display the whole floor plan.
Windows across multiple floors:
It's now easier than ever to create windows across multiple floors. The window needs to be positioned in the wall then set its height.
Variants with customized Doors/Windows:
You can create variants for the doors and windows you create in the Door and Window Wizard, making it easy to manage doors and windows of the same type. With variants, you can create groups of elements that are identical in some way, but still have different sizes, for example.
Create profile variant:
Create variants for 2D profiles to speed up your work.
User definied profile for shutters:
It is possible to add a customised cross-sectional profile for the shutters of the windows, so that any manufacturer's product can be integrated into the design. By selecting any of the library profiles, you can create a customized shutter for your doors/windows.
Architrave hatch on floor plan:
Hatching can be added to the architrave of the windows, shown on the floor plan. This option can be used to make the floor plan even clearer, making it easier to distinguish between elements.
Hole reinforcement for slabs:
The command creates straight bars along slab hole edges.
Interior design innovations
ARCHLine.XP 3D Warehouse:
The newly launched ARCHLine.XP 3D Warehouse website serves as a two-way content center. It offers designers a huge collection of downloadable objects and materials, while they can also upload any content, enriching the community's design palette.
Scaling and rotating textures:
Textures can be resized and rotated directly on the 3D elements, so for example the wood grain of the furniture can be set realistically.
Import SKM materials from 3D Warehouse:
An skm file is a material file that SketchUp uses for texture information. It includes the raster image file, a thumbnail image and an additional content that describes how large an area the image should cover.
Photometric Light Improvements with IES profiles:
ARCHLine.XP 2024 automatically loads the intensity specified in the IES file. IES files are downloadable from ARCHLine.XP 3D Warehouse. You can save IES files as part of the project or another category available for all projects.
Emissive materials in the rendering:
Emissive textures can be used to create surfaces that appear to have an independent light source. Emissive textures can be used for monitors, LED strips and other luminous surfaces. The power of the light source can be set in the texture properties.
LED lights in cabinet:
The corpus tool has been expanded with the built-in LED lights panel.
The advantage of the built-in LED strip is that the light is an integral part of the furniture, it moves with the movement of the furniture, it is part of the consignment list, it can be saved in the element library and used as a unit from there.
Hinge holes:
Hinge holes can be added to furniture fronts, making it easier to see the position of the hinges on the fronts in the design plans and to manufacture the elements.
Documentation & Interface features
Redesigned user interface:
ARCHLine.XP 2024 comes with a redesigned user interface, emphasizing user experience and accessibility. The intuitive layout improves navigation, ensuring designers have seamless access to the most frequently used commands and navigation.
New Print dashboard panel:
The new print dasboard panel makes printing faster, easier and clearer with ARCHLine.XP. In ARCHLine.XP 2024 printing view you can see in full sceen size what your print job will look like before you send it to the printer.
AI ChatGPT Assistant:
ARCHLine.XP 2024 includes an AI ChatGPT window that revolutionizes how designers are informed. This device acts as a personal assistant, helping users stay up-to-date with the latest information and features. Whether you need real-time updates or help with the software, ChatGPT help is ready to guide you.
Simplified Plot Layouts with Viewport:
The introduction of the Viewport tool revolutionizes he creation of a plot layout. ARCHLine.XP 2024 allows designers to effortlessly arrange and organize their designs, improving project coherence. With Viewport, architects can ensure that every aspect of their project is presented with clarity and precision.
Copy plot stamp parameters:
In the copy properties dialog, the parameters option is now available, which helps you to copy the filled plot stamp data from one plot stamp to another.
License assistant:
License Manager dialog is the central point to manage your software license.
This provides control and visibility into the usage of your licenses and reduce the risk of non-compliance.
Design Center and dialog icon size:
In the Design Center and dialogs you can set the icon size of objects and materials. To change the icon size, go to Settings > User interface and change the Design Center primary and secondary icon size options.
Where is the project folder:
Click on the title in the top bar, and click on the Open the folder where the project is located button.
Minor improvements:
Search For Layers By Name:
You can search for the desired layer by name in the layer dialog. Start to type the name of the layer you’re looking for in the “Name” field that appears at the top of the panel.
