IES lights in rendering

The enhanced render engine in ARCHLine.XP 2024 now also supports the commonly available IES lights. This feature further enhances the lifelike appearance of the already familiar high quality render images.

IES files are light profile descriptions that describe the distribution of light from a point source. Light effects that approximate reality can be represented in a photo-realistic image.

The use of IES lights can be set in the render engine of ARCHLine.XP 2024 with the push of a button. In the render dialog, the use of IES lights must be enabled, so that for spotlights, the program automatically detects which light sources should be displayed based on the selected IES light source. In the IES light source selector dialog, you can choose which of the IES light sources in the library should appear in the rendered images.
