The slab commands let you create regular or irregular slabs, sloped slabs and foundations, as well as cut slabs and modify slab properties. You can create simple slabs (single slabs) or layered slabs. For layered slabs, you can modify the individual layers. This allows you to create standard structures according to the detailed structural drawing and to elaborate the relationships between walls and slabs in the floor plan and 3D drawing.
Creating a slab:
Select Building / Structure / Slab.
- Click to position the first point of the slab.
- Move the cursor to the next point. The current length value is displayed in the cursor input field.
- Click to set the next point or
- press TAB and enter the length value in the cursor input field and press Enter, or
- enter a value in the dynamic input field and press Enter.
- Repeat step 2 until you have finished drawing the perimeter of the slab.
- Press enter to create the slab.
A red or green dashed line appears when you can create a horizontal or vertical side. ARCHLine.XP uses the current model unit when you enter a numeric value.
