Hatch patterns using AutoCAD .pat files

Autocad files with the .PAT extension contain hatch patterns, which can be imported into ARCHLine.XP and are automatically saved to the directory.

If you are going to use AutoCAD hatch patterns you can import custom wood and stone hatch patterns or any other pattern from .pat files. You can import hatch pattern libraries easily with just a few steps.

Follow these steps below to add AutoCAD Hatch Patterns:

1. Click the Hatch Pattern button in Hatch Properties dialog.

2. Click on the checkbox Autocad style hatches. It enables the New Pattern button.  

3. Select the .PAT files with multi selection to import

4. The imported hatch patterns are displayed in the dialog box. 

After adding the AutoCAD Hatch Patterns, you will have thumbnails accessible within the Hatch dialog in you your custom hatch pulldown.
