On the Hinge holes page, you can define hinge holes (from ARCHLine.XP 2024).
By default the hinge holes are drilled as a standard 35mm diameter hole. The measurement from the side
edge of the door is by default standard at 22.5mm to centre of hole.
Diameter
You can specify the hole diameter. By default, the list contains the most commonly used 35mm and 26mm values.
Offset
- To specify the left or right offset of the hole or the distance from the top or bottom edge, use the values available in the drop-down menus or enter different values in the input fields.
Hinge hole depth
You can specify how far the hole should sink into the furniture front.
Adding/deleting hinge holes and switching between them
For a cabinet door, you can define more hinge holes.
- After specifying the properties of an hinge hole, click the button to add the hinge hole to the cabinet door.
- If you want to add more hinge holes, click the button and set the properties. To add the hinge hole, click the button. To cancel the new hinge hole definition, click the button.
- Repeat the steps above until you reach the required number of hinge holes.
- To delete a hinge hole definition, click the button.
- The new hinge holethat hasn’t been added yet is represented by green color in the preview. The previously added and selected hinge hole is represented by red color in the preview. The previously added and not selected hinge holes are represented by blue color in the preview.
Copy and paste
On the Inset, Hole, Subtract profile and Add profile pages it is possible to copy certain properties from one element to another. The function works only inside the same pages between the elements. All the properties will be copied that do not concern the shape and position of a frontal profile.
- After specifying the properties of an actual (an existing or new) element, click the button.
- To modify the properties of an existing element, or when you create a new element, click the paste button.
