Hatch on section | Each material has a Hatch in 3D setting. On the section view the sectioned items are represented with this setting if the option is switched on. When you generate a section view, the program does not apply hatch automatically to the cutting planes, because in the case of big models it would take too long. If you want to apply hatching to the cross-sectional cutting plane, activate the Always Update Section checkbox. If Always Update Section is deactivated the program sends a warning: "Section update must be turned on to execute the command." |
Highlighted items on section plane | Using the section tool there is the possibility to set different line thickness based on the item type that was intersected by the section plane. This possibility gives you the ability to visualize main structural objects and other objects with different conditions. Click the ellipsys button and check item types in the Classes dialog. The Section line weight setting is applied to the selected classes in the section view. |
