Crop view is a tool used to adjust the visible portion of a view. It is used in section, elevation views, and partial 3D views.
It allows designers to focus on specific areas of the building model or to control the extent of the view before printing.
In case of section view, from the dashboard, you can click to choose whether you want to change the lower or upper boundary of the section. Clicking the button will display a red horizontal line on the section, indicating the new upper/lower boundary. You can move the mouse to specify the new location of the boundary, in which case snapping is always on, so you can simply fit the line to a given point or plane.
Next to the bottom and top border buttons is a button to reverse the viewing direction. Clicking on this will rotate the section 180 degrees to show what was previously behind the section line.
