You can define edges by a chain of lines specifying the height of points in the chain. The program automatically cuts up the terrain into smaller triangles along the created discontinuity line. The inserted discontinuity lines gain significance in the case of e.g. roads, clefts, and pipes.
Location : Building - Terrain - Discontinuity lines
- Select a terrain to draw a Discontinuity line.
- Add the first node of the polyline that defines the Discontinuity line.
- Add additional nodes, then ENTER.
- Adjust the height of the Discontinuity line.
- Select the nodes in the Discontinuity line that you want to specify different height and enter the height.
- Enter ends the command.
