ARCHLine.XP uses two coordinate systems:
1. a world coordinate system and
2. a project coordinate system.
World coordinate system
The world coordinate system (WCS) is a fixed coordinate system, its origin never moves.
The WCS provides the basis for positioning all elements in the model.
The project coordinate system is defined relative to the WCS.
Project coordinate system
The project coordinate system typically refers to the main axes of the building.
This setting simplifies the input of distances using the main directions (X, Y).
This coordinate system is specific to the current project. The origin of the project coordinate system is the project base point.
The Project North direction refers to the Y direction of the project coordinate system.
To change the orientation of the project to the top of the drawing area, use the Project North tool.
