The Project North direction typically refers to the main vertical, or Y direction of the building.
You can change the orientation of the model to the top of the drawing area with the Project North tool.
When designing the model, it is a good idea to align the Project North direction to the main vertical axis of the building.
Rotation: The rotation between Project north and True north can also be specified.
Project North means the Y axis of the project base point.
This setting simplifies the input of distances using the main directions (X, Y).
Texts and dimensions are automatically adjusted.
Display Coordinate Origin Points
The Project North and True North points are visible in floorplan. The active coordinate system is displayed with red-green axes, and the inactive one with gray axes.
