Home
The menu shows the list of projects uploaded by the user. It displays all 3D models uploaded from your desktop ARCHLine.XP application. Tap on the filename to open the desired project.
Opening Mode
It provides Model Mode and Share Mode.
In Model Mode, it enables to view 3D model, navigate, cut, measure, select and inspect project structure (storeys) and BIM parameters.
In sharing mode, it creates a link to view the 3D model, which you can share with compatible mobile apps.
Gestures
The project is opened in 3D mode by default.
You can switch between 2D Top view and 3D mode with the first button.
In the 2D Top view mode, you can do the following operations:
Single Finger Panning: when one finger touching the drawing area, the drawing can be panned as the finger moves.
Two Fingers Adjusting: When two fingers touching the drawing area, you can zoom in or zoom out the drawing by adjusting the space between the two fingers.
Tree View
The model structure is visible in the Tree View. Selecting a given storey in the list highlights it on the model. Unchecking a storey or an element in the list makes them excluded from the visualization.
3D mode
There are two types of 3D view: 3D Realistic and 3D Transparent.
Single Finger Panning: when a finger is touching the drawing area and is moving, the 3D model will continuously be rotating along the moving direction. You can view the 3D mode comprehensively in 360 degrees.
Two Fingers Adjusting: When two fingers are touching the drawing area, you can zoom in or zoom out the model by adjusting the space between two fingers.
Selecting perspective
Select the desired perspective from the list and click OK.
Section
Create section planes in the 3D model.
Operations:
Section view editing planes will be displayed in 3 planes: YZ, XY, XZ. The display of section view can be controlled from the slider control over which plane(s) are presented and whether they are flipped or not.
Measuring
Distance
Operations:
Click the “Measure” button and select the “Distance” tool:
- Step 1: specify the start point of measuring by clicking.
- Step 2: specify the end point by clicking. It displays the length information between the two specified points.
- Step 3: you can repeat steps 1 and 2 to measure another length.
Click the X button to cancel the displayed length information.
Angle
Operations:
- Step 1: click the “Measure” button and select the “Angle” tool.
- Step 2: Specify the first endpoint of the angle.
- Step 3: Specify the angle vertex.
- Step 4: Specify the second endpoint of the angle.
The angle value displays from the first endpoint to the second endpoint counterclockwise. Click the X button to cancel the displayed angle information.
Selection
Operations:
- Step 1: Click the “Selection” button.
- Step 2: Tap on an object to select it. You can select multiple objects. Deselect: tap on the selected object to deselect it.
- Step 3a: Click on the Info button to display the Properties, Name, Type and BIM Parameters.
- Step 3b: Click on the 2nd button to hide the selected object(s).
- Step 3c: Click on the 3rd button to show/hide the selection and the rest of the model.
Click the X button to cancel the selection.
