The ARCHLine.XP Drawing Pane makes it efficient to manage projects with many drawings.
The Drawing Pane is a resizable and openable/foldable ribbon at the bottom of the workspace. It allows you to review and activate project drawings regardless of the workspace layout in which you use the program. It is especially good in full screen mode.
The Drawing pane lists the drawings belonging to the project. To select one, click on the image of the corresponding drawing on the ribbon. If you are working in full screen mode, the selected drawing will automatically appear on the screen.
The drawing pane contains three parts as Control bar, Drawing Selector and Pager. To make a drawing the current one, click on the image in the list.
Control bar
The left side control bar enables you to resize, show or hide the drawing pane and to open the list of the workspace list.
Workspace list
You can use the workspace list icon to switch between the drawings of the project. It displays all workspace names in alphanumeric list.
Show / Hide
The Drawing Selector can be hidden by clicking the arrow icon on the control bar. The hidden ribbon remains hidden until you click it again to display it in the form of an arrow.
Size up / down
The size of the Drawing Pane can be reduced or enlarged by pressing the Increase Size and Decrease Size (+ -) icons. You can use it to convert the contents of the Drawing Pane to a visible size on Full HD or higher resolution displays.
Pager
The Pager appears at the end of the Drawing Selector ribbon when the number of drawings exceeds 8. The Pager contains of one left and one right arrow that you can press to scroll left or right through the drawings on the Drawing Pane. The maximum number of drawings that can be displayed depends on the screen resolution at which ARCHLine.XP is running and the size of the Drawing Pane. The maximum display width of the Drawing Pane fills up to 80% of the ARCHLine.XP workspace. If the project contains more drawings than can be displayed on the ribbon, scrolling arrows appear at the end of the ribbon.
