Command line is for typing commands directly into ARCHLine.XP, without having to search the tool on the Ribbon bar. With the arrow, you can see previously entered values.
Input field
The input field is where you enter numeric values, text, commands, and subcommands. You have to click on it before typing: after clicking, the typed text always appears on the command line. You can specify values, text, or formulas that can use trigonometric and arithmetic operators.
For example: to input 6.5, 3 as X, Y coordinate: 3+2*2-1/2, 3. Close the typed content with the Enter button to activate.
Dynamic input field
Dynamic input provides an alternative way to enter input values. When you are in a command and the program is waiting for next input, pressing any key the input field appears on the drawing area near to the cursor actual location. For example, displaying the value of length. Close the typed content with the Enter button to activate.
