Styles are saved common property sets that can be activated in one step.
When you create an element in a project with a specific geometry and parameters, you create an instance of the element.
Each element has a set of properties. You can change the properties freely. These changes apply only to the single element in the project. Styles provide a level of control over elements that are similar in use. Using styles optimize the design process and enable to create the documents more efficiently. When you work with often-used object settings (such as wall or slab height, structure, 2D representation, cover materials etc.) styles can be a very useful way to store the settings and recall them later at any time.
Styles can be applied later to existing elements as well. Styles can be shared as office standard using the loadable package of styles.
