Import DWG files

There are two methods for importing DWG/DXF drawing formats

• Import Files Using Drag and Drop
  Drag and Drop is a convenient and easy way to open a DWG file. Open the folder where you want to import the files from. Drag the files from Windows Explorer or ARCHLine.XP window and drop them.
• Importing using File menu– Import command
  To import a DWG file, select Import / DWG. Select an import action from the appearing dialog. The ruler at the bottom of the dialog box, which displays the current unit of measure, helps you to interpret the imported drawing, and can be set as metric or imperial units.
