ARCHLine.XP includes a Material Editor that allows you to create and modify materials used in your designs. Within the Material Editor, you can specify the color, texture, and other visual properties of materials applied to different elements of your project, such as walls, floors, and furniture.
Colors and textures make the 3D model look more realistic and complete in views and rendered images. Colors may come from color systems such as RAL, Sikkens, Pantone, etc, like paint. Textures are realistic materials, such as brick, fabrics, metal, parquet, stone, tile, glass, wood, etc. There are preinstalled colors and materials in the Materials library. Also, there are Render styles preinstalled in ARCHLine.XP. You can create materials in the project if you need a custom one.
Materials may specify the following information:
- Graphical as similar to real material.
- Appearance e.g. design phases.
- Overrides the represented physical properties.
