To make the photorealistic image more realistic, it is essential to set the material properties correctly. This is made easier by applying render styles. ARCHLine.XP render styles are classified into specific groups such as metal, glass, brick, mirror, and so on. Render styles can be assigned to any material.
You can drag and drop them from the Design Center to the selected surface in the 3D view. The effect is visible in the internal Rendering application. The command does NOT change the size or texture of the materials, it only changes the material properties. The effect of the command is permanent, the Undo command cannot restore the previous state! In addition to sets, custom settings can be made, but the use of custom features is recommended primarily for users who are familiar with rendering.
Color coded display
The color-coded view allows you to display rendering styles in a categorized manner. The color codes appear in the upper right corner of the render style icons. When you click the Color coded command in the Design Center, ARCHLine.XP displays the model with the pure colors assigned to each render style. This makes it easy to check the assignment of render styles through the associated colors.
