Create terrain

3D site modeling covers all elements added to the building structure. The site plan consists of topography lines,  roads,  zones and the building plateau.
Once the site model is complete,  it can be coordinated with the building model. 
The site and the building can be precisely aligned by specifying the elevation above sea level.

Terrain has it's specific tools for modeling roads,  by tracing the road path. 
The program cuts the road into the terrain,  or completes and fills in the missing areas according to road height.
A plateau is required when topography is added to a 3D model because it cuts through the terrain where a floor is not able to.

Generating Topography from CAD and Text files

You can import terrain data from dxf/dwg or other ASCII files such as CSV, DAT, ASC.
In case of terrain points data, being in any file format, terrain points are defined by their X, Y and Z coordinates. Input files may include the numbering of terrain points and notes.

Then use the 3D hammer icon to generate toposurfaces of the terrain in 3D.

Use this command to build a new terrain using points,or add new points to existing terrain.
Along the contour lines, the height of the terrain is the same.

Enter the new point or contour line.
Enter the height of the point or contour line.
Insert additional points or contours or Enter completes the command.

Then use the 3D hammer icon to create the terrain in 3D.

Use this command to build a new terrain using contour lines, or add new contours to existing terrain.
Along the contour lines, the height of the terrain is the same.

Enter the new point or contour line.
Enter the height of the point or contour line.
Insert additional points or contours or Enter completes the command.

Then use the 3D hammer icon to create the terrain in 3D.
