Once you have created a table text, ARCHLine.XP offers a number of formatting options.
You can customize the appearance of your tables:
1. You can split, merge, and restore cells
2. You can resize, insert, and delete columns and rows.
3. You can show and hide cell borders
4. You can format the text in the cells
Selection
There are several types of selections available when editing a table.
1. Select a row
2. Column selection
3. Select a cell
A single cell can be selected by double-clicking, first clicking on the table, then on the cell.
Note: You can then change cells by right-clicking (ENTER) and clicking on the new cell.

Row, Column Operations
Select a row, column.
1. Insert entire row. | Insert a row directly above or below the row you clicked in. |
2. Insert entire column. | Insert a column directly to the left or right of the column you clicked in. |
3. Delete entire row. | Delete a row you clicked in. |
4. Delete an entire column. | Delete a column you clicked in. |
5. Resize a column. | Resize a column you clicked in. |
Changing text properties (e.g. color)
Select a cell, row, or column.
You can align text in a single cell, row, or column, or across the entire table.
Choose a formatting option: Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, Font, Text Color, Border Color.
Text Orientation
Select a cell, row, or column.
You can rotate the text up or back to its original horizontal orientation:
Copying Cell Formatting
Select the cell, row, or column that contains the formatting you want to copy.
Choose Format Painter.
Select the cell, row, or column to which you want to apply the formatting.
Choose Paste Format Painter.
Copying Cell Text
Select the cell, row, or column containing the text you want to copy.
Choose the Copy Text command.
Select the cell, row, or column to which you want to copy the text.
Choose the Paste Text command.
Align a cell, column, or row
Select the cell, row, or column you want to align.
You can align text in a single cell, row, or column, or across the entire table.
Choose an alignment option: Left Align, Center Align, Right Align.
Show or hide cell borders
Select the cell, row, or column you want to align.
You can change the display of cell borders in a single cell, row, or column, or in the entire table.
Choose a display option.
Merge or split cells
Select a cell, row, or column.
1. Merge Cells | Merge two adjacent cells into a single cell. |
2. Merge Horizontally | Merge all cells in a row into a single cell. |
3. Split Cells | Split all cells in a row. |
