The View Control Bar provides quick access to functions that affect the current view. The tools displayed vary in different views. The View Control Bar is located at the bottom of the views.
Location:is always in the lower left corner of the active view.
The panel is activated from: File - Options - User Interface - View Control Bar
The panel can be hidden and displayed using the black arrow icon on the far left, so it doesn't take up valuable space on the interface when it's not needed.
2D view
The main tools of the floor plan view control bar are:
- Level Up: Activate the level above the active level; - Level Down: Activate the level below the active level; - Design Phases: Existing Elements - New Elements; - Phase Filters; - Level of Detail: Switch between Coarse, Medium and Fine display modes for Wall; - Architectural Scale - Show Line Weights; - Enable Level Shift
3D view
The main tools of the 3D view control bar are:
- 3D view modes; - Visual styles - Jump to next perspective view - Jump to previous perspective view - LOG (Detail) settings - Level of detail: Switch between Coarse, Medium and Fine display modes for Wall; - Element filters - Where is it on the floor plan? - Toggle shadow on and off - Rendering
Section, Elevation view
Section view control bar tools:
- Visual styles (Hidden line, Colored, etc.). - Toggle shadow - Hatch on section - Partial section - Change section upper limit - Change section lower limit - Reverse section viewing direction - Show line weights; - Where is the section line on the floor plan?
Print Preview
The Print Preview View Control Bar tools:
- Print Mode - Specifying the printable area - Inserting a viewport - Modifying the drawing boundary - Modifying drawing properties - Modifying the print stamp - Showing/hiding elements in the print - Updating drawing sheets - Showing/hiding plot layout names
