Quick Selection

The quick filter is used to select items whose category matches the category type of the selected items.

If a selection contains elements of different types, you can use the quick filter to remove unwanted types from the selection. For example, if the selection contains walls, columns, and stairs, you can use the quick filter to exclude stairs from the selection. The quick filter dialog lists all types of elements that are currently selected. A counter indicates how many elements of each type are selected.

Note: 
The command only works on pre-selected elements.

Actions:

• To select all items of a specific type, select the checkbox.

• To exclude all items of a specific type, select the checkbox.

• o select or exclude all types, click the "Select All" button in the upper left corner..

By clicking the "Isolate Selection" button, only elements of the type selected in the dialog will be displayed.

Clicking the “Select” button will narrow the selection to the currently selected types.
