In ARCHLine.XP, beam merging and splitting are editing functions that significantly simplify structural modeling and help achieve precise design layouts. Merging allows two beams running at the same elevation to be combined into a single continuous element, resulting in simpler geometry and cleaner documentation. Splitting, on the other hand, is useful when an existing beam needs to be divided into separate segments—for example, due to connecting structures, openings, or differing material properties. Both operations help ensure that the model more accurately reflects real construction conditions and logical structural organization.

📝 Note: During merging, the second beam always inherits the properties of the beam selected first.
