You can create a room manually. This tool is useful e.g. for defining rooms as balconies where boundary walls may be partially missing.
The room is associated to the polygon lines. This means the room follows the modification of the polygon automatically or after the refreshing.
Finishing surfaces can be assigned to room sides defined by polygon
Location: Building - Room and Area - Room by polygon
1. Specify a polygon to define the room boundary.
2. Enter the room height.
Quantity take-off in Excel
Documentation - Quantity take-off - Excel List - Tiling command provides four lists of tiles in the project and tile areas.
1. Summary of tiles
2. Tiles by room
3. Areas
4. Tile details
Attention: Rooms created with the room polyline command are NOT connected to walls, even if the boundary line may coincide with the walls in the plan. The details of the tiles placed on these walls will be displayed in the Unlisted Items list on the Room Breakdown worksheet. It is recommended to use the Room by Walls command for accurate listing.
