Importing a PDF allows you to display a PDF file in your project.
1. Import PDF as vector data:
ARCHLine.XP imports the geometry and TrueType text from the given pages of PDF document.
Geometry import visualizes lines and polygons with a given colour and line weight.
The imported floor plan can be re-scaled to 1:1 (if the scale factor is 1:100, it needs
100 times bigger enlargement).
1.1 Browse the PDF file that you want to import, and click Open.
1.2. Place the imported drawing in the appropriate location with the mouse or enter the coordinate.
If you import PDF as vector data you will be able to snap to the endpoints and other special points in the PDF underlay.
2. Import PDF as raster image:
The underlay will appear as raster image. You can set the resolution for the display of the underlay.
If you import the PDF as a raster image, you cannot link to endpoints and other special points in the PDF underlay.
