Equal spacing

It is often necessary to place objects at even spaces. These commands help to distribute space between objects equally.

Location: Edit - Align - Equal Distances, X, Y, XY.

1. Select the unequally sized objects.

2. You can choose among 3 align options. You can distribute the space horizontally or vertically, or

in the direction of the two farthest elements.

Equal distances X

While the first and last elements remain in place, shift the intermediate elements so that they are equidistant in X.

Equal distances Y

While the first and last elements remain in place,
shift the intermediate elements so that they are equidistant in Y.

Equal distances XY

While the first and last items remain in place,
shift the intermediate elements so that they are evenly spaced
in the direction between the first and last elements.
