The internal origin is the starting point of the ARCHLine.XP internal coordinate system, which is the basis for the placement of all elements in the model.
Note: The location of the internal origin never changes.
When you create a new model, the project base point is placed at the internal origin by default.
Display Coordinate Origin Points
The Project Base Point and the Internal Origin Point appear in the floor plan view.
By default, both coordinate origins are turned on. You can make them visible or hidden as needed.

Maximum Distance from Internal Origin
Model geometry must be placed within a 16-kilometer radius of the internal origin. Exceeding this distance can reduce reliability and result in undesirable graphical behavior.
All geometry in the model, including geometry from imports or references, must be within the modeling boundaries.
- globally, when the program calculates values relative to the project base point or the internal origin, or
- relatively, when values are calculated in relation to the last point.
This can be set in the Status bar.
