It is common for someone to work on the office computer and a laptop at home.
Therefore, it may be necessary to be able to easily copy a part of the object or material library, a category, or selected elements to the other computer.
Different cases:
All objects of a category or subcategory
1. Select the category in the object or material library. Right-click on the category name and select Export. The command exports all items in the category to an .environment file.
Import on the other machine:
In the Design Center, you can import a file with the extension .environment from the gear menu with the Import command. You can also read such files by dragging them onto the ARCHLine view from the Windows Explorer using Drag and Drop method.
Partial selection within a subcategory
1. Select the category in the object or material library. In the Object Center, activate the Multi selection mode in the gear menu.
2. Hold down the SHIFT key and click on the desired items one after the other.
3. Click the Design Center gear menu and select Export. The command exports the selected items to an .environment file.
Import on the other computer:
The same as in the case above, in the Design Center you can import a file with the .environment extension from the gear menu with the Import command.
