New rendering presets: The render settings are vital for tuning render output quality. In ARCHLine.XP 2021 there are new presets for different purpose. The settings are tuned to the different needs of the outdoor and indoor scenes.
Multi pages Plot Layout: The renewed Prepare Plot Layout allows you to create a a group of sheets with identical stamps, such as A4, in a matrix.
Print queue - Improved performance: Print Queue helps to print a large number of drawings (views and sheets) from a project.
Exporting Drawing Files to PDF: You can generate a PDF file from many views such as floorplan, layout, section and elevation. PDF includes layer information and you can browse the file by layers in Adobe Acrobat® or similar application.
Wall view improvements: Wall views with automated dimensioning of cabinets, linked symbols and furniture external and internal layout (with fronts and open) one by one or both at the same time.
Callout: Use Callouts to create more detailed captioned views. You can add a callout view to floor plan, section or elevation view.
Linking IFC, RVT, DWG, PDF: This option links the IFC, RVT, DWG, PDF file within the project. Linking is the best option to visualize external content for coordination purposes.
IFC classification data: Classification represents a universal tool for communicating BIM information in a standardized format. For the AEC industry the classification system provide the different parties a common understanding of all elements.
BIM Level of Geometry (LOG): The LOG in a BIM model is a term used to describe the geometric level of the model. ARCHLine.XP offers five LOG options ranging from 100 to 400. (100,200,300,350 and 400).
Rule-based filters: Filters are controllers that can be used for many purposes. Rule-based filters can display selected elements of a model in several ways: with graphic override, with selection to modify the elements, or by coloring only the elements that match the current filter rule.
Overlapping objects and 2D fills: Filled hatches provide a better understanding of the floor plan. Objects can be filled with a solid color or pattern (with foreground and background colors). Draw Order controls the depth range between objects, higher covers the objects with lower order number (1: Top-most, 8: Bottom-most).
Push and Pull: The Push / Pull tool is used to create and transform 3D solids. Use this tool to create 3D solids from 2D contours.
Schedule with Images: Schedules with graphical information can be created by inserting model images.
Exporting schedule(s) containing image: You can export the schedule data and images into an Excel file. You have the option to export the selected schedule or all of them at once.
Sharing Categories with other users: ARCHLine.XP allows you to centrally manage shared content over a local area network. All items in shared categories are automatically available to other users. Object, Door, Window, Profile and Group subcategories within categories can be shared with other users.
Raft foundation edge: The raft foundation edge tool offers a flexible solution to create raft foundation edges along open or closed paths. The cross section can be customized freely and the tool can also be used to create strip fundations.
Option to toggle elevation and section lines on/off: This option enables to toggle all elevation and section lines on/off at the selected level.
Tiling improvement - Creating wall with automatic tiling: You can assign a tiling style separately to the interior and exterior layers of the wall. In the Tiling Style dialog box, you can specify frames, objects, and tiles or glass panels.
Insulation layer to beam and column: The energy/thermal calculation of a building often requires the placement of a thermal insulation layer upon the external surfaces of the structural elements like columns and beams.
Door/Window Instance identification: For doors and windows, this property identifies identical instances by a number (instance ID). The program assigns a number increased by 1 to different instances of doors or windows.
3D Connexion device support: ARCHLine.XP supports 3D Connexion devices like the SpaceMouse® and CadMouse for professional and smooth design experience.
Project navigator changes: The Project navigator shows the hierarchy for Floor plans, Views, Sections, Elevations, Plot layout sheets, Rendering images, Schedules, Styles and other parts of the current project.
Deprecated Features: These functions have been deprecated.
Project template: Using the Project template, you can customize your ARCHLine environment to your own needs. No more redundant layers, levels or unused styles.
