The ARCHLine.XP 2026 version introduces a wide range of innovations to improve design efficiency, collaboration, and visualization.
Architectural innovations
Architectural Grid: The enhanced architectural grid enables a simpler and faster design process, while its appearance can be easily customized to suit project needs.
New Rebar User Interface: The redesigned interface simplifies rebar editing, making structural detailing faster and more intuitive.
Beam split and unite: The beam merging and splitting are editing functions that significantly simplify structural modeling and help achieve precise design layouts.
Updated Column Insulation: For columns embedded in walls, the enabled insulation layer appears only on the parts that lie outside the wall layers.
Custom 2D symbols for doors: The 2D floor plan representation of doors can be fully customized.
Enhanced RFA Import: Imported Revit Family elements are organized into variants, where the first type serves as a common parent, ensuring clearer data management.
IFC 4 Export: Georeferencing: When using IFC 4, the exported file also stores the defined georeference values, so the project includes geolocation as a BIM parameter.
Autodesk Construction Cloud (CDE) Integration: A direct plugin connection allows browsing projects and uploading/downloading documents (PDF, DWG, IFC, XLSX, etc.) without leaving the ARCHLine.XP environment.
Xref path options: Relative, Absolute: The enhancement enables external references to be managed using relative or absolute paths, improving project portability, collaboration efficiency, and the reliability of reference management.
Shadow resolution: Shadow resolution controls the sharpness and quality of shadows, with higher settings providing better visuals but requiring more GPU and video memory.
Changing the elevation of terrain points in a 3D view: The elevation value of a given terrain point can be modified by itself or along with its surroundings.
Adding a layer to a wall: In ARCHLine.XP, new layers can be added to walls, allowing users to define the layer's function, material, thickness, and its position relative to existing layers.
Group modification commands: The program allows editing groups, adding or replacing elements, and automatically updates all instances of the group in the drawing.
Interior design innovations
Mini image editor: A versatile tool for fine-tuning brightness, contrast, and colors, applying filters, and transforming images directly within the software.
Object variants: Designers can create and manage custom object variants in the Design Center, making it easier to handle repetitive yet individually customized elements.
New Sketch mode: Sketch Mode is a dedicated mode in ARCHLine.XP, intended for creating or modifying individual elements such as doors, windows or furniture, which acts as a mini-project within the main project.
New Slab vault types: Expanded modeling options with tunnel vaults, groin vaults, cloister vaults, sail vaults, and trough vaults, offering greater architectural freedom.
Near clipping plane: The near clipping plane allows elements that are too close to the camera to become invisible in the 3D view and during rendering, enabling clearer and more comprehensible interior shots without walls or other objects obstructing the view. The clipping distance can be precisely adjusted to achieve the desired effect.
Integrated D5 Render: The new features of D5 Render version 3 brings a new era of rendering. Use the Near clipping plane to create stunning renderings of even the smallest spaces.
Documentation & Interface features
User Interface changes: The ARCHLine.XP 2026 user interface has been renewed with a focus on efficiency and functionality.
New View Control bar: The View Control Bar provides quick access to functions that affect the current view.
Navicube navigation: The new navigation cube provides interactive 3D control and allows you to quickly switch between different views (e.g. top, side, axonometric or perspective).
Quick selection: If a selection contains different types of elements, the quick selection tool allows you to remove unwanted types from the selection.
3D input cursor constraint: Design accurately in the 3D view with new cursor constraints. You can lock your movement to specific directions or planes using arrow keys.
Version history: Collects the project history, allowing access to any previous version from a single location.
IFC export templates: IFC export templates define how model data is converted into IFC format so that other programs can handle it consistently and correctly.
Horizontal view: Perspective is defined by a horizontal plane on which both the observer and the observed point are located.
